A red spotty rash started to develop yesterday on the tops of my arms, i couldn't sleep last night the itching was driving me mad!
Now i have it on the tops of my thighs too and a few tiny spots on my tummy. I'm going to try and get in touch with my midwife and see if the results of my rubella immunity blood test is back yet (GOD...i hope it's not measles...i don't even wanna think about that!!!)
I don't think it's a heat rash either as the rash has a kind of pattern to it, it's he same on the tops of both legs and on each arm.

I did find this about PUPPP when i was searching the net...

Im hoping it is this but it does say it happens towards the end of pregnancy :?
Going to make a doctors appointment first thing tomorrow :0(

I have no idea hun! But wanted to reply as I have an red spotty rash too but mine is more than likely prickly heat! Its all over my hands, lower arms, neck and face! :( Its so annoying! My hands and arms itch like crazy!
So although its different, I thought i would join your red spotty rash club!! haha

I suppose mine could be prickly heat too, ive never had it before so don't know what it looks like  It's stared to go kind of dry and scaley now...does prickly heat go like that???

My arms look such a mess. Everyones walking around all bronzed and golden and ive got red spotty arms :(

Well this is the first time I have had it so Im preusming it is prickly heat
Mine looks like a bad nettle rash but smaller bumps! When they dont itch, they are like under the skin but when they itch they go red and raise up into bigger bumps!

Could be hives.. that results in a rash. I had it before and it was itchy. Try not to worry,

ooh this is identical to what i had!!! u had the blood results saying i have no immunity to rubella so panicked as well because i got the rash at the same time. Docs said it was exzema (sp) i struggled to believe this as i have never suffered with this in my life - too coincidental how i get it whilst pregnant.
Anyway after much research iv discovered its probably due to the fact our skin is a a lot more sensitive. so things like our normal washing powder now could be irritating us. the itching was driving me mad as well. the doctors and pharmacists were'nt willing to help but it cleared up on its own after a week. well, i did use a little sudacrem to cool it and stop me scratching.
Just be carefull not to use anything harsh on your skin. avoid fragranced soaps ect.
I hope yours clears up soon, i have had no problems since :)

Thanks Keelie, my OH said it looks like eczema to him. I had eczema round my mouth when i was preg with my daughter but haven't had it since.
Its drying up now and doesn't look as red.
