hi guys..

I am having quite bad badache at the moment going from my lower back (as expected) right up to my shoulders.. has anyone else suffered from this?

Now I do have quite a set of bazookas anyway  and they have got bigger in the last week or so, but i have never had backache this high up before, only slightly and lower down when af due.. I know shoulder pain can be a sign of ectopic so I am of course starting to spot for other 'bad' symptoms...

(i should change my user name to desperatley paraniod and panicky mum to be.... )

If the backache is going all the way up - could be a sign of poor posture - do you work at a desk? Someone will have to help me out here - long time since I was there, but when does the softening of ligaments etc start to happen? If you work in a poor posture normally you could be feeling the impact of it more.
If there's no other cause (which hopefully there isn't) ask at work or search yourself for the exercises recommended if you work at a desk - things you can do whilst sitting which help to get you back, arms and shoulders relaxed.
I still have a copy somewhere from when I used to train this - but not sure where - I'll have a search for you.

i do work at a desk and am usually tied to the phone and desk all day.... thats useful to know, thanks I'll try do something about that.

it si probably to do with the softening of the ligaments. i started to get sciatica at around 6 weeks and my gp said it was due to ligament and muscle softening. it should ease off soon hun and your posture could be adding to it. if it gets worse or is still there in a wekk ask gp if he can give you anything. they gave me a gel to relax muscles and ease pain might be worth askinh about. hth xxxxx
