So sorry to be graphic but need advice... I've had a lot of extra CM anyway and know it's normal but just now I felt a 'leak'. I was wearing a small panty liner but it was my knickers that were wet... There was thick CM on there but the dampness was clear etc and didn't smell like urine.
Should I be concerned it could be waters or do you think it just sounds like extra CM? Really don't wana call anywhere and make a fuss if it's just CM as I'll feel daft, but don't want to leave it if it's waters... Baby is defo on move more tonight too.. And I felt very sick this morning. Xxx

Babe I had the same not so long ago and I called my midwife just to make sure, she came round the next day and took some samples. I would have it checked just to out your mind at rest. She told me to keep a pad on and if I go through it or change it lots during the day then to call her back. Have you had an extra busy day today , more then normal?

I've had really really wet knickers today but I've been rushed off my feet and stressed so thinking it could be that. Going to monitor tomorrow and then will call midwife if it's just as bad x x x

I've had a busier few days than normal...
I don't think it is waters I think it's just me being overly cautious as it shocked me how damp they were!
If it was waters would it continue to leak out a little? Could I just see how I was in the morning then? Xxx

I'm no expert babe at all being a first time mum but I do think we're right to be overly cautious and if you do call and speak to someone and it isn't waters at least you've checked. I'm going to keep check on mine tomorrow and wil call if it persists as apart from babysitting I have a pretty relaxed day tomorrow. I'm not sure if it would continue to leak being waters, some of the other lady's will probably be more helpful then me xxxx

I would call to be checked out. You are allowed to make a fuss when it's for you and baby! They can check really easily with swabs and put your mind at rest. I've had a lot of discharge and wetness lately, but I would say feeling that damp might be worth being checked over. :) hope all is ok :) x

It doesn't have to continually leak to be waters, despite what the websites may say! My waters leaked as I got to hospital last time and I just felt like is wee'd myself and that was it. But that was with contractions and being dilated. That's not to say that's what this is either, Id probably do the same as bunny and put a pad on and keep an eye on it and call tomorrow if you need reasurance , keep us posted :) x

Thanks so much for the replies guys! Going to see how I go overnight. I don't think it's anything but you know what it's like when something happens and you're just not sure!! Xxx

I would go to get checked Mrs, doesn't hurt to be extra cautious. You aren't wasting anyone's time and you will put your mind at rest. Michelle on here explained to me about front and hind waters. One of which has a lot less 'water' and it could be that. Or it could be a little wee or extra cm. I would go and get checked though :-)

I had this yesterday, I assumed it was sweat as I'd been cleaning the house from top to bottom. :/ xx

Jenbob, I'd give the midwife a wee call just to be on the safe side xx

the best advice I saw was to lie down for half an hour. If you get a little gush when you stand, then it could be waters. That's how I put my mind at ease when I have an... erm... wet day lol. Like the other ladies said, it's when I'm super busy or it's very warm that I get it, but I believe it's CM rather than sweat as it hasn't really got an odour.

Thanks for advice guys - sorry for late reply been at work all day.
Everything is fine now, no further leaks or pains etc so honestly think it was just CM I have midwife tomorrow anyway so will mention it then. Thank you again

That's good to hear babe! Let us know how MW goes tomorrow :) x x

Glad all has settled now!! :) hope midwife goes well. Not many more appointments left for us now! :) x

Thank you.
I know!! Potentially only 2 midwife spot if babies make an appearance before due date!! Can't believe we are almost there!!
Wonder if we will both end up having our babies close together or not sugar. Xxx

Let us know how you get on Jen, I had a gush of liquid today that has me a bit worried. I'll be keeping an eye on this and hoping all goes ok for you. I might ring my dr tomorrow if it happens again

Yea I wonder if we do! Shame we don't all live near each other ! :/ think I'm having weekly appointments now so I could have a few left .. Or maybe just my next week one.. Haha wishful thinking I think! Almoat full term now so not worried about when he comes now. He's given me plenty of scares that I bet he bloody hangs on now!! :/ hope you have no more leakage, but just ring them if you do. They don't bother at all and it's such a simple examination and test to reassure all is ok. But ill say being generally damper down there is quite normal at this stage, more disharge etc.. :) x
