I seem to feel thirsty almost all the time, sometimes I feel like I haven't had a drink in days but I'm drinking regularly. Just another pregnancy thing...?

It can be but if it persists I'd mention to the doctor or midwife as it can be a sign of other things too. Also if you're drinking so much water it can make it difficult for your body to retain it making you still be thirsty.

How long has it been going on for?

I have found I've been more thirsty - but not excessively, I'm probably drinking now what is recommended!
I drink around 2 - 4 pints of squash/cordial a day, on top of mealtime drinks, and normal ones. I also drink water before bed, it doesn't seem to matter, I know i will be up for a wee anyway!
It has been insanely hot though!
I think mention it to the midwife if you are concerned, but in general, it's your body telling you what you need...
X

The last week or two I would say, it's worse at night as I'll wake really thirsty so I'll drink and then I need the toilet all night. Lol!

I'm at the midwife today so I will mention it & see what she says. Probably say "oh that's normal" like they have with every symptom lol

I have also been pretty thirsty throughout this pregnancy. Actually, fun fact- I found out I was pregnant due to persistent thirstiness!! It turned out my blood pressure was very low in early pregnancy and my body was trying to compensate by making me drink more in an attempt to increase my blood volume. I know what symptom to look out for in the future now haha...

I was always thirsty but got even worse during pregnancy. I drink 1,5 l water during the day and one bottle during the night, so roughly 3 l of water in 24 hrs. Adding here one glass of orange juice . Anyways I do not think it is so bad, sometimes I get water retention but otherwise I feel very good and so does my skin.

Oh. I hope low blood pressure is causing mine as I suffered with high blood pressure in my last pregnancy! Lol

Next time you're thirsty you'll be wondering! X

I was drinking about 4 to 5 liters on the day and 1.5 in yhe night! I had low blood pressure but I did develop gestational diabetes at the end of my pregnancy to so definitely bring it up as excessive thirst is a sign xx
