I think this is probably a really stupid post and i dont know whether i have posted it in the right place either but i have to share it.

Today i have felt sick all day and had tummy pains from Leif being rested on my tummy. I only finished my period last week and only had sex last night for the first time in a couple of weeks last night, but i had a really weird strong thought going round in my head, what if i am pregnant again? me and the oh are not using any contraception at the moment as i have been told by my gp that i should wait till i have my blood test in october so i know what i can have so its always been withdrawal method. Theres no way i could be pregnant again is there? specially not with symptoms the following day?

Sorry if it is a really stupid question but please just put my mind at rest.

Possibly not, probably not. I would say the only way is contraception which is why i am going to be sterilised.

if its not what your family unit wants then think on.

You may feel sick from ovulation? Perhaps that's what's causing the pain, or it could be any number of other things. You certainly wouldn't get pregnancy symptoms one day after sex. It's too soon.

It's obviously on your mind though, and maybe that's why you have symptoms? Amazing what the mind can do to the body! so unless you really want to get PG again, then you should take precautions.

Was it particularly viogourous- maybe it's knocked you around a bit inside?

Part of it maybe that you are worried about getting preg. As for contraception, I know they are a bit rubbish but you could use a condom, then you don't have to worry about it.

They used to be rubbish a few years ago, but OH and I used them recently for the first time in about 5 years, and found they were improved and had less loss of sensation for him etc.
