HOW MANY OF YOU STILL HAD YOUR BUBBA IN A MOSES BASKET AT 5 AND HALF MONTHS OLD

SHE LOVES IT THOUGH :( SHE LOOKS SO COSY IN IT . :D

i think Louie was in his basket till about 5 months, then one night i just decided it was time, ever since then hes woken up through the night & we;ve had crap nights sleep

hopefully Rachael won't be like Louie the Rascal & will sleep through for you Budge!!!
have you got a day in mind when when you want to put Rachael into her cot?

no i haven't :(

im having loads of problems coming to terms with her growing up :(

do you think i ought to shift her out her basket into a cot sooner rather than later

oh  i don't know, is she still happy in her moses? has she got plenty of room in there.
maybe wait a bit longer if shes happy, but i kept putting it off for ages, just checked my diary & Louie was 5 months & 1 day old when i put him into a cot!
i was sooooo upset to see the moses go up into the loft knowing i will never use it again :(
but like every new stage they (& us ) go through you get used to the new stages they go through (if any of that made sense :rotfl: ?

I just started putting Olivia in her cot this week, my god she was upset
:(

its took about 4 days for her to come to terms with having to go in but she accepted it.

I think its best to try your bubba soon, Olivia is only nearly 4 months and that was hard enough :(

hannah was 6 months before she came out of hers and i put her basket in her cot for about 2 weeks before i put her in her cot and she was fine

thats what im goingto do.

you will all know when the time comes! ill need lots of support

I put hope in her cot ages ago at least 2 - 3 months ago and she had no probs, sleeps better now, if she comfy in there budge just let her be id say

How about introducing her to the cot for daytime naps but let her stay in the basket at night... thats what I did and it made it much easier for Arianna when it did come to change at nights.

I have still got Jake in his at almost 5 months old. I am going to keep in in the moses basket until about 6 months or maybe longer if he still fits in it. To be honest I am too scared to put him in the cot in his nursery.

This is what we did with Logan - he has now been in his cot for 4 weeks (since he was 3 months old) but he does still end up in our bed after his 4am feed

I feel the same! Jacob is still in our room and I know I have to move him soon. His head is touching the top of the basket! :rotfl:

Im having the same probs as you budge :(

Shes my 3rd and one i never thought id have especially being a little girl and im shit scared and emotional about selling her things.

I cried when she went from her moses basket to her cot was like i was losing my baby and her growing up, which is daft.

Now im in turmoil cos shes nearly outgrown her carrycot and has to upgrade to a pushchair

I have tons of her clothes which no longer fit and i cant bear to part with them just yet

Your not the only one mate  xxxx

That's what my ex's sister did with her baby, she also started putting him in his cot for naps during the day too. Worked really well, and he was one of those babies that really used to fight against going to sleep.
