Anyone had that 'oh f**k wot have I done' feeling yet?

Things totally dawned on me today about how life changing and scary a new baby is.

I was out shopping and heard a screaming toddler and just thought omg that will be me dealing with that soon! As the mum of a teenager daughter, screaming babies and toddler tantrums seem a distant thing of the past, ok I now deal with teen hormones and strops but you can soon ground them or tell them to sulk in their room!

Anyone else had a scary reality check yet?:dohh:

Oh yes, I certainly have!!!

My daughters are 2 and a half and 15 months. I am 3 months pregnant (and it was planned), and yesterday I was wondering how the hell I was going to go out on my own with all 3 of them, then the answer hit me - I'm not going to be able to!!!!

I had when i was about 8 weeks and actually got quite upset. Even posted about it on here. Everyone assured me its quite normal lol.

You've got a while to get used to it hun. So are teenage strops easier? Hehe.
X

Teenage strops do seem easier but she had lots of toddler tantrums and so far is a good teenager!

Think it must be daunting for all of us in various ways, I was happy with one child and starting to enjoy a bit of freedom but then the old clock started ticking away! Least I will have a live-in baby sitter this time round, altho I expect it will cost me!

Awww good point lol.
I keep thinking OMG I will have this little life who will be dependant on me 24/7. I'm supposed to be grown up at nearly 30 but I don't feel it lol. Ah well I'm sure it will be a HUGE change but worth it! :) and you'll love having another baby :)

i have this.

i'm 25 and about 6 weeks pregnant with my 3rd. My kids are 7 and 2. The pregnancy wasn't planned and i'm definitely finding it hard to feel excited about it all. But i think that could just be my hormones. I'm happy enough about the new baby but my biggest worry is about my 2 year old. He's such a mummy's boy and loves being my baby.

I don't think it matters if it was planned or not. My husband and I have been trying to two years to get pregnant. Now that we are I am sort of going OMG.... I think more so about my life changing so much and it is has changed allot in just seven weeks.... what is it going to be like after another 33 weeks.

And my husband and I LOVE our sleep so much... No more getting up at 10 or 11am on a weekend. :-(

I don't think I can even think about the actualy physical baby part (like screaming, nappies and stuff) as I think I would faint.....

im sure i will get it again when i give birth lol baby no 5 for me i think i have lost any sanity i had

WOW... I think you should get a medal for that...

I am one of 5 girls..... I think my mum is the most amazing person ever to survive that..... I am going to make you the 2nd most amazing person ever for doing it too.... :-)

How close are they together? My sisters and I have 10 years from oldest to youngest.... with me being the second youngest....
