Would you call your child the same name as someone in your family just cos you liked it even if they were still alive?

My dh old granny is called Ivy, and I like that name. I think it's unusual and cos I'm due around christmas I think it's appropriate.

Just don't want people thinking I naming her after. I wouldn't mind so much if she was dead!

If you're not sure you could always use it as a middle name.

wold it be so bad if they did think she was named after her great grandmother?At the end of the day shes your baby and its yor choice not anyone elses hun go with what you feel is right
