Quick q about tv's

Hello!

If a tv blows its tube, do you still get sound?

Our big tele has gone black with a tiny strip of light across the very middle of the screen.

I've switched it off at the mains, and on and it's still the same, I've tried sky/terestrial tele and no change.

Still getting sound though!

yup, sounds like your tube has died a death i'm afraid...

Oh dear.......I'll have to break the news to my mum....there is a triple bill of corrie on tonight!

Not only that, but we have just -

Put in a new kitchen, staircase, bathroom, flooring and we're about to get new central heating! The joys!
