Quick post function?

Hi,

just a suggestion really for ease of use. I've seen a lot of boards have a 'quick post' function which is just a tab at the bottom next to 'make post' (not sure if that's exactly what it says). It just opens a small box at the bottom of the page and has a link for a pop up with smilies.

I've read a lot of girls saying that they have super slow internet and I'd imagine waiting for a new window to open would take the p!

i've asked a couple of times, but i think LauraB has been busy with stuff so hasn't had the chance to look at it.

i'd love it, i HATE opening new windows to make a post. I know i would post a lot more if i could do it from the same page as the topic!
