i am cooking a joint off beef for tea and wanna do it in the slow cooker, i got the bags to put it in the questions i have is do i put gravy or water or anything in the bag with the beef, or do i put gravy or water or something in the slow cooker so it surrounds the bag if that makes sence or do i just put the beef in the bag and put the bag in the slower cooker with nothing else???

My mum puts the beef, gravy and veg straight in the slow cooker.
