Quick fresh and easy?!

Hey, my fridge freezer has broken and little one living on the pouches which are nice but in used to doing my own stuff too! Does anyone have good ideas for quick easy stuff I can just make there and then for LO? Really appreciate it! He's 6 months has mostly pureed but some finger food, trying to before confident about that xx

you could make some mash potato with other veg?? bananas as finger food? or mashed bananas? oven roasted veg? just make small portions?? hmm... i'll try to think of other ideas!

I've just made a huge batch up but you could do small portions of chicken and veg, chicken and potato, cheesy mashed potato.
Purée some apple and pears x x

Thanks! Mashed fruit good! Some good ideas bit was after something even quicker ESP cos we out and about a lot! Might have to stick to bought stuff for now! Unless there's time to do proper stuff and get it ready before hes ready ha xx

today i made some baby rice up and blended some strawberries and peaches and it made a nice breakfast and very quick to do as no cooking involved, avacado is another good food as no cooking involved x

I do a mini jacket potato in the microwave! Just pop in a small potato along with some veg in a bowl of water (broccoli, peas, sweetcorn etc) for a few mins till all are ready and puree together along with some ham.

Have you tried him with avocado?

Sainsburies organic ones are the best but any other in a pack that says 'ripe & ready' will do (you don't want them too hard). They're great for finger food but easily mashed too. Plus, full of good fats for baby. I take one everywhere!

Oh and I mash it and spread it on toast or pitta bread too.
