After bleeding and pains I had an early scan last week, they confirmed it was a miscarriage. They could see I hadnt passed the sac yet. Anyway...I passed the sac the next day. My question is....would the baby of been in the sac? Or would the baby have passed before that? I had lots of clots amd tissue before the sac passed and presumed the baby had gone plus in the scan I never saw a baby? Thanks xx

Sorry you are going through this.
It is possible that there was never a baby to be seen if you had a blighted ovum and only a sac developed. If you never seen a baby on a scan then I would say that this is the most probable explanation.

I'm not sure hun but depending how far you are the baby may only of been a tiny cm long. I only passed a clot so I'm wondering if mine was a blighted ovum as I never felt pregnant at all. I think if if was then that makes me feel better as there wouldn't of been a baby x
