Hi

Ive heard so much about these tens machines what are they never heard of them out here
Thanks Katrinaxx

They send like electrical pulses which stimulate natural pain relief chemicals in the body. You put electrodes on your back and press it when having a contraction. Apparantly quite good in early stages of labour and you can use them for lower to mid backache too.

Hi

Thanks hun , ive always wondered why everyone talks about it , sounds great! wonder if they have it hear never ever heard any one talk about it.

i think you either have to buy your own or rent one from a pharmacy i had awfull pains in my legs towards the end with trapped nerves and my mum leant me hers i just wish that i had used it in labour as it was fantastic 4 my legs

Katrina, id highly recommend getting a TENS machine, I managed to get to 6cm with no pain relief with mine..it was fantastic.

I know some people dont like them but it really helped me and id suggest any pregnant woman to get one and try it! They are brill for early labour, but can get annoying when the contractions get really bad, I took mine off when the contractions were one after the other.

Ive read tons of reviews and the Elle TENS seems to be the better one. We're getting one soon to buy as we're both old farts and get backache which we can use the tens for afterwards
