I've just bought one of the Avent milk powder dispensers for making up formula when out and about. I have sterilised it, but now of course it is all wet, so if I put powder in it will stick! Surely if I dry it or leave it exposed to the air it will no longer be sterilised?
What do you ladies do? Thanks for any advice! :)

I used one when Ben was a baby and can honestly say I never gave it any thought and never steralised it!! Will be interested to see what others do (now I feel like a terrible mum!!)

I wouldn't have thought about sterilising it either, but just thought I had better follow what it says on the instructions! Now just left with a wet container that is no good to me at the moment!

don't forget that powder itself isn't sterile so as long as the dispenser is kept clean there is no point sterilising it!

I leave everything air dry.... Never thought that it wouldn't be sterile anymore. There is only so much you can do to keep evrything sterile. As long as it's clean, I am sure its fine :)

Yes, I think i am starting to get a bit obsessed with sterilising things! Have an awful fear of LO getting ill because of something I have / haven't done. Will just leave it to air dry,and will probably just wash in future rather than sterilise. Thanks all! :)
