I just wanted to know if you work for a hospital (NHS) have they offered you something towards childcare??
Or has anyone heard anything?

I have seen a few jobs i wouldn't mind getting involved in at the hospital (part time) but i have no family to look after my kids and it would be too expensive for us to pay for childcare on PT wage.

I heard a few years ago they offer you some money towards childcare.... is this true????

The hospital trust I work for (Southampton) have a nursery dedicated to hospital staff but its very expensive! I've never heard of anyone getting childcare expenses but maybe thats just Southampton?

If you get WFTC they give you 70% of childcare

there was something towards childcare, i think it would reduce the amount of tax you pay. i will find out from work tomorrow and let you know. We have a nursery at our hospital and its quite reasonable.
