Question for mums who had a show!

Hiya

I was due on Sunday, and am still waiting for things to happen

The thing is on Friday night i started having a show, and have since then had the pinkish discharge (not bleeding). I had a sweep on Monday so it could also be from that.

Just wanted to know, those of you who had a show, how long was it til you went into labour?

I'm getting really fed up now because i thought he was about to come!!

I had my proper show the day I went into labour. Remembering calling my mum to the loo as we were around there for xmas dinner asking her what she thought of it and whether it definately was one

Ive not had like lots in one go, theres just been blobs each time ive got to the loo!

I just really cant wait much longer!

mine started the day i had my sweep and carried on until i went into labour 4 days later. i thought you had a show and that was it - wasnt expecting it to keep coming over several days

1 whole week with my first
on the day with my second

continuous from around 27 weks with my third and this one.

it was a big show i had with my first too.
It was exactly one week after i gave birth.

the sohw happened sunday at around 9am and i had emiy the sunday after at 8.35 am

I had my show when I was 8cm dialated. My waters didn't break until I was fully dialated. Am sure it will be soon hun.

i think i have had a small show today too, it wasn't blood stained though like my others have been.
i had the show 2 hrs before my daughter was born & then with my son it was 16 hrs later he was born.

I had a show with Brody, but was still induced eventually, a week later.

Hi Izzy i thought of you today..wondered if anything had happened yet!
my show started as a light pink discharge as the plug slowly came away in bits..the i had a big show nearer the time..big blob of jelly like pink gloop!! so its prob the start of things, just when the cervix is softening and starting to slowly open

I had a sweep on a tuesday, and the day after I went to loo had a show!
by 1am that night my waters went and I was holding LO at 9.55am thursday morning!

So It could be starting slowly for you izzy!!!!!

aww I did the same with my mum lol

Was in labour in the delivery room, went to the toilet thinking I needed to poo, but didnt it was just Zack trying to make an entrance. Took my knickers off and had a show in them. Asked my mum to come and have a look. She picked them up and put them in my bag, bless her lol

isn't it great the things you ask your mums and they never mind what so ever!
I love my mum to bits, I had my show I shouted her in the bathroom to come and see if it was my show bless her she didn't mind she wanted her grandson to arrive!

I'm gutted I never had a show or my waters break. I hope I get that this time, almost feel like I missed out.
