question about periods and conceiving

Well this is for my friend once again, she wants to ttc right away, we were talking last night and how does it work, are you not able to conceive till after you have your first af back, or is it possible that af wont show up and she could get pregnant.

Im not entirely sure, but as far as I know it takes a while for hormones to get back to normal after a miscarriage so she may not be able to concieve straight away, but then again she might get lucky as its possible she could ovulate normally before her next period.

As far as I know it is "possible" although it will be unlikely due to hormones and stuff.
Unfortunatly it's not something anyone can control, it's in the hands of mother nature. Besides it's probably best to have at least one normal cycle before falling pregnant again (It took me 3 months)
Good luck to your friend I totally understand the not wanting to wait I was the same but she has to be patient it will happen.

Doctors do recommend that you have 1 period before trying again, if fact you are more likely to get pregnant shortly after having a miscarriage. Well it happened for me it was about 2 months before i was pregnant again huge shock.

My doc told me it was okay to start trying again right away, but I think it really depends and everyone is different. I really think its best to wait at least a month so that you can recover physically and emotionally. I think each person realises when the right time to start again is.

I started TTC straight away, once bleeding stopped...and still having fun TTC now.... but is is only my second cycle... good luck to you friend ...lv Yvonne xx
