I'm taking her to the doctors tomorrow, but just thought I'd gather your thoughts too.

My LO is 17 weeks of age and since 9 weeks she has been taking gaviscon. It had been working quite well until this past week. She has been very unsettled lately particularly during feed time. She is really fussing and will more or less only feed with me. Whenever my husband tries she fights it and screams with real tears streaming down her face... it was the same story with my mum today.

She is a clingy baby and love me, but when she is fed and slept she's really good with my husband (still not used to my parents though), so this suggests that she is specifically having feeding issues.

I'm not sure whether it is down to her reflux issues - she isn't doing lots of wet burps but feeing is an obvious problem. Or it is because she is very constipated, teething or just a development extra clingy stage in her life?

As I said, I'm taking her to the doctors anyway but just wanted to see if anyone had experienced anything similar. To be honest it's quite tiring being her one and only person!

No advice - but I can imagine you're very tired having to do most of the childcare.

Like you said, it could be a feeding issue so they want their mummy because they're not feeling 100%.

17 weeks so 4 months - possibly a leap? Ds1 always glued himself to me in those early leaps, they were exhausting. Not very helpful I'm afraid.

Hope you get some answers at the docs.
We actually weaned DD off gaviscon around this age as I think she'd outgrown the reflux and it was causing constipation instead. Could you maybe alter the dose a little to see if it has an effect? Xx

My youngest is refluxy like my eldest was. He's generally a much more content baby than my eldest was, generally cos we got his reflux under control earlier than with my eldest. But he will still only feed with me, which does get frustrating if we want to leave him anywhere

We didn't manage to get a doctors appointment today, but her feeding has been much better today. She happily took a bottle from my mum whilst I popped out for half an hour. I'll see how she gets on tomorrow and if she goes back to fussing then will get her back to the doctors.

Thanks everyone.
