If I express milk into a bottle to take with me to get Lewis weighed tomorrow and don't need to offer it to him, can I pop it back in the fridge when I get home to take to his 6 week check the next day?

Hmmm I'm guessing I could keep it cold and warm it up at the health centre they must have hot running water. It's 10hrs out the fridge 48hrs in the fridge isn't it?

I thought it was 6 hours at room temperature and 5 days in the fridge..?

Wss ^^^ I thought it was the same x

If you put it in an insulated part of your changing bag then yeah should be fine. Lizzie never had heated ebm either, she was happy with it straight from the fridge which made it easier!
Think guidelines are between 6-12 hours room temp...I was always quite relaxed tbh, if it smelt ok then I wouldn't worry too much. I treated it like I do cows milk!

The timing seems to depend on which guidelines you read. I've seen 6-12 at room temp, and 5-8days in fridge.

I wouldn't leave it out that long, only an hour or so for our appointments. But I heard up to10hrs if it's hotter than 19 degrees in your house, if its cooler you can keep it out 24hrs, health centre will be warm.

I just wanted to know about re-refrigerating it more than anything

The baby friendly feeding guidelines are 5days in fridge as long ad not stored in door. As for out of fridge we say 6hours at room temp in hospital

As long as it is kept cold.
