We're going to Florida next year & are planning on going to Animal Kingdom, I've been to all the other parks before but not this one so wondering what its like really. What is there do there apart from tour around looking at the animals!!

(Kina i'm sure you'll be able to help me :D)

Cheers :D

do you know what i feel really old as i went to Disney land when i was 10 in 1980!!!!

There is a new rollercoaster (Matt did it - Expedition Everest, he said it's really really good). An excellent Lion King show (Ella was enraptured by it, it's fantastic, one of my favourite Disney things to do), a water ride (you get soaked), a safari, a ride called Dinosaur (I crapped myself the first time I went on it!), A parade at 4pm, lots of animally bits to do, a few other rides and really it's just a chilled out day soaking up the atmosphere and taking in the theming (which is really good). We got there first thing when it wasn't so busy and got quite a lot done. It's not as good as Magic Kingdom but definately worth a peek even if you just get the main coaster and the Lion King show done :)

love it love it love it cant wait to go back... :cheer:

Thanks :D Just wondering how much stuff we will be able to do with Jamie, he'll be 14 months by then
We're going to Sea World as well & may go to Magic kingdom (i've been there several times so may not bother!) not sure yet tho. We'll see how much of a tinker my son turns out to be

Nicki you have to do MK with him :shakehead: I had to do It's a Small World 6 times with Ella as she loved it so much, honestly he'll love Fantasyland (Dumbo, Peter Pan, Winnie the Pooh etc). We didn't do that much at Sea World as it was heaving (Colombus Day weekend), but she liked watch the dolphins and was happy watching the Shamu show. Plus you've got Shamu's Happy Harbor which is a play area that I'm sure he'll be big enough to do. I bet he'll really like the water fountains at Epcot (the ones that shoot up from the floor, there are always loads of kids playing in them) and Living Seas. There is a new Nemo ride at Epcot that opens tomorrow so we didn't get to do it, but she really enjoyed Figment. We went to Blizzard Beach and she liked it there too, particularly the lazy river :cheer: And at MGM you've got Bear in the Big Blue House show which again she really enjoyed. Can't wait to go back

i think a lot of the rides and shows at animal kingdom are aimed at kids more than adults anyway.
