I'm having quite a shaky day. I think perhaps my nerves are a bit shattered!

I've used Bach's Rescue Remedy before pregnancy but just wondered if anyone knows if it is okay to use when pregnant?

I'm assuming it is as you can even use it for children.

I use this one:

Or the drops on the tongue..

bach's website goes as far as to recommend their flower essences during pregnancy - i've used them...

x

I have assumed all pregnancy I wouldn't be able to use anything like that.

Thats me off to the chemist for some Rescue Remedy then I am beginning to feel anxious and panicky some days that might be enough to help me.

Thanks Ladies. Off to Boots tonight then!

Special thanks to my special little light bulb, Para LMAO :rotfl:

i can just be sat here doing nowt and it comes all of a sudden, struggle for breath too.

Im not nervous tho as this is my third so dont know what is causing it :?

tattybear - its funny, its one of those things that you think might just work as a placebo rather than having any real grounds in fact.... i certainly find it calming, however - it helps me relax when i'm feeling panicky or uptight.

interestingly, i used to give it to my horse before the farrier came as she was a bugger to be shod, and it also had a noticeable calming effect on her...

I got very upset very easily in first tri so I went to Holland and Barratt and the assisstnat got out the rescur remedy booklet and sure enough, it said it was fine during pregnancy :D

I often take it on the bus to work in the morning. I'm happy at work but I get stressed at the idea that I might get too tired

could be a placebo thing going on but...

a few years back, my sister came home from hospital with her newborn and her eldest dd who was little over 12 months cried and cried come bed time. having tried everything we could think of to calm her down, i talked sis into letting me give her a drop of rescue remedy on her dummy. it worked like a charm, she quietened down and was soon settled in bed.

Coincidence?

I don't really care whether it's placebo or for real - as long as it works I'm much happier :D

so it works if your anxious then? Cos i'm extremely anxious person. Would it help relax me if I feel anxious at some point? :)

Sweetcheeks -

It certainly does.......if you go to their website you can fill in a questionaire and they recommend which remedies will help most!
