:) has anyone ever heard of or took a homeopathic remedy called caulophyllum to try and stimulate labour naturally?
When I was looking at some of the leaflets that my hospital had given me from parentcraft classes, this is listed as a natural way to help labour begin, and as I am over and due to be induced on Friday,I'll try anything!
I am taking one every hour, letting it dissolve on the tongue.

If anyone has used it before,do you feel that it helped,or am I just now clutching at straws? :( :(

I've never heard of them sorry Bagpuss.

But another thing I've read to help stimulate labor is Clary Sage oil, apparently it can help contractions become "more efficant" (sp) and is also recomended for use during labor.

The clary sage essential oil can be mixed with massage oil and your partner can massage you with it during labor apparent can also help you deal with contractions.

take alook on the internet and have a read for yourself, and as always it's proberly best to consult your gp or midwife for advise first.

the down side is though it can be quite expensive stuff, but it can also be used after birth during your mentrual cycle and menopause ( but I think your quite a way away for that lol )
