Pulsating light in clouds...

Excuse me if I get a bit excited and geeky but has anyone ever experinced anything similar to this in the sky?

OH and I did tonight. The one we saw was two horizontal shaped clouds, one on top of the other with a vertical line of light above it.

This is the second light phenomenon we've witnessed in the sky in under 6 months.

Anyone got a story to tell about something similar?
