Just wondering what levels you may have been getting for progesterone at day 21?

Back in 2012 i had this test done over 5 months with levels of, 2 (no ovulation), 48, 46, 59, and 2 again!

When seeing my Gynae consultant she scanned me and said that there was enough follicles and activity on the scan and she said that I didn't need clomid as plenty of activity going on.

Last summer I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid and since been on treatment and noticed a difference in regulating my cycle immediately - give or take a few days. I was so pleased as I thought I had perhaps found the underlying cause of my sub fertility as we are 'unexplained'. When I visited my GP in January about the thyroid playing up, he asked why I had stopped the day 21 progesterone tests and I said because I didn't know I was to continue with them after my lap & dye! So I've started them back up again and my latest result is 70 which sounds good to me? Shame I seem to be revisiting the test they started off with back in summer 2012!

Just wondering what type of results others have been getting?

I got 36... I feel like mine was a bit low but Dr said he's not worried.... I am haha! Your last one was double mine! Isn't 30 the cut off? X

Hi yes I think they are looking for over 30 ideally for ovulation. Mine has never been this high and just wondered what type of results everyone else gets...

Thanks for sharing your level x

Well I'm CD29 and no AF as yet. I've been ringing my doctors to see if the GP has seen the results yet - as the receptionist usually says 'yes GP has filed them as satisfactory'. My test was taken Wednesday last week and they have still not been seen by GP!

I'm beginning to convince myself I'm pregnant! I have exceptionally sore boobs, and they seem to have inflated quite a bit over the last week.

I've been getting symptoms of AF coming with stomach cramps for the past 4 days on and off and that isn't usual for me. I usually get getting cramps the day before and then it arrives. I did a first response test yesterday afternoon but it was negative. I keep getting a fluttery feeling to one side of my womb area too - don't know what that may be.

I've never had a progesterone level this high before and are so curious to know what an earth is going on!

I have had an increase in my thryoxine dose just recently and I'm wondering if that could explain what is going on!

My cycle has been irregular but better of late with it being 28 days last month and up to around 31/32 days.

I'm wondering if I have tested too early and perhaps using a weak sample when dashing through the door last night after getting home from work!

I've tried to do soem research as to what levels others have been getting during day 21 tests and also once they have found out they have conceived, but can't seem to find much! Argh!

I'm wondering whether to just wait and retest at the weekend if AF doesn't arrive or book an appointment with GP....

Any advice ladies? x

I don't think progesterone levels indicate pregnancy just a good egg(s)! When I did iui my day 21 progesterone level was 78 I think and I was pregnant! So fingers crossed!! Maybe you should test again with fmu? Xx

Hiya my day 21 bloods were done 2 weeks ago and were 67.1 af hasnt properly arrived just tmi brown on wiping but that didnt happen till af was 4 days late been havin bad bad cramps so was sent to hosp today 3 bfn so they have taken bloods and ive got to have a scan they kept sayin they think its early pregnancy so have to wait for the scan Fx u get good news xx

First morning urine!! Should pick up hcg hormone xxx

Your results are all so much higher than mine!! My hub's semen analysis came back fine and doctor said I ovulated so we've been referred but I'm sure they're going to pick up on my hormone levels... Xx

Hi Bethy, I wouldn't worry as GP said anything over 30 is good. I've had 2,48,46,59,2 back in 2012.

Well I've been trying to conceive for 2 1/2 years and I'm now convinced its down to my hormone levels. Not that doctors have paid much attention to these in the past. Had initial 21 day tests for 5 consecutive months back 1 1/2 years ago and were a lot lower then with some months no ovulation. Following this I've had lap and dye with no issues and hubby semen fine - they classed us as 'unexplained'; lovely!

7 months ago I found out I have an underactive thyroid and I so think this is linked as I've noticed such a difference since starting meds. This last month they have almost doubled my dose as it wasn't high enough and bit of a coincidence that my day 21 test scored 70! I just think this is proof my body was struggling before, and not able to sustain a pregnancy. I have been pregnant when 18 but back then it wasn't the time for me and did decide a termination was the best option for me at that time in my life, so I know that I can conceive.

I just feel frustrated that I'm being pushed from pilar to post with GP so I'm adamant to keep on now at my GP. We've restarted the day 21 tests so I'll keep on with these, although I don't think I'd need clomid with this type of result?

I just wish I could have a full analysis of my hormone levels, but don't think I can get this with GP? I suspected back in 2012 that I may have poly cystic ovaries as I noticed light downy hair appearing on my face, but consultant said nothing on the scan to indicate that.

Well I've got terrible cramps this morning and I'm sure AF is on her way. However I have slight nausea to on and off which started yesterday. I really don't know what on earth is going on. I will do a FMU test on Sunday if she doesn't arrive before then!
