I remember a time when I could put Alice on her playmat so I could nip to the kitchen or the loo and she'd lay there happily playing.

Now I can't leave her for a second! Went to make a cuppa and by the time I'd come back she was on her front nearly under the coffee table!! She can't even crawl yet so god knows how she got there!! :faint:

I think we are going to have mischief once she learns to crawl. She's desperately trying but hasn't got the hang of it yet.

I'm looking forward to this stage but dreading it all at the same time lol! X

Aww bless her lol!! It's a good point, we will literally have to spend every second with them xx

I know exactly what you mean! I've just been looking at playpens for that reason! I now put Chloe in the middle of the floor on her back if I need to pop to the loo quickly because its the only place she will be safe! She lies on her back, lifts her bum and kind of does a crab walk to get where she wants! She also rolls over by accident, keeps ending up flat on her face! I feel like a prisoner too because you literally are scared to leave them out of your sight for a second!

J has been kind of needy since birth, he screams if left alone for longer than 30 seconds. I have just gotten into the habit of taking him everywhere with me. Though if he is asleep then i am trapped as he sleeps best on me, and i would rather he was asleep for longer than that i had 10 mins free. Sigh.... its very exhausting isnt it

I remember willing Oz to walk (he never crawled, only bum shuffled from 8 months), from 10 months he started cruising and 12 months he was walking... now I can't sit still for 2 mins lol He's so busy. Once htey get going you can't turn your back for a second lol

xxxx

Kynon is a little wriggler too, rolls or somehow shuffles but not a crawl yet. I put him in the jumperoo or his seat now if I need to leave him. He got hold of dd homework the other day when my back was turned, that will teach her to tidy up after herself having to hand in drool covered work!
