Got pretty much everything waxed (I couldn't see at the time but it's nearly hollywood) :faint: in preparation for consultants appointment on Monday to prepare for all eventualities. Made my eyes water though

Bought a bath, changing mat and 3 blankets for pea.

Also got the angel sounds video movement and sound monitor with nearly £100 off the price.

All in all a good day ;)

I darent get anything waxed as I hear you are more sensitive when preggo! I suppose it's not worse than child birth!

Well done you tho! Have you got much left? I know I need to spend £50 on sheets (according to the prices in mamas and papas) and I'm dreading it!

I had a brazillian the other day and it wasn't too bad, I don't think it was much worse than normal - I normally take 2 neurofen before I have it done to take the edge off but obviously couldn't do that! The beautician ripped the first bit off and said - 'it's more painful when your pregnant so I hope your ok'!!! Thank god she told me once we had started otherwise I might have run away!
Princess you have had a much more productive day than me so well done!

I am defo more sensitive now pregnant - normally waxing doesn't phase me at all but it was a bit nippy I have to say, just enough to make me wince though.

I still have plenty to get: A nappy disposal system (girls at work swear by these cos even with the scented nappy sacks one dodgy nappy can stink out your whole house).
Cot matress
Day bed thing
Car seat and pram

All bloody expensive things, typical lol

I am pleased with what I've managed to get done today, hopefully it won't be long before we have the other stuff, hopefully the pram won't take too long to come in once we order it. The reason it's not been done yet is because mother care are sending us a voucher as a goodwill gesture for messing up (royally) our furniture order so we are planning on using that voucher against the cost of the pram x

Princess you're about a week ahead of me and we both have pretty 'special' due dates - don't know about you but there is going to be a lot of leg crossing that goes on over xmas and New year - fingers crossed my bump is either 2 weeks early or 2 weeks late!
We haven't got a cot yet as being given by a friend who won't be done with it til her bed arrives in a couple of weeks! Just ordered the mattress though, also being given the moses basket so need to pick that up in a couple of weeks from a friend- all I can think is that if I was to have the baby now then he wouldn't come home for a while so we would have time to panic!

God yeah loads of leg crossing!! This baby had better not arrive on due date :shakehead: lol x

It doesn't bother me for my sake, but I just wouldn't want the baby to have it's birthday on Christmas day cos I think it would suck. If it does happen we will be having the baby's birthday party in June so that they have something to look forward to mid-year x

I was born on Xmas Eve on it does suck being born near xmas-good idea about the party in the summer i would have loved that! :) x
