So i bought 2 for £1 at the Pound shop, and today thought I would try it out knowing it would be negative, but no lines at all :wall: so I figure they are not worth buying again.

so without paying £10-£15 for a test, because I think that's a bit much if negative (if got a positive on a cheaper one, might be inclined to buy a dear one just to make doubly sure) what's the next cheapest tests (bar ebay cheapies, not interested in them).

I'm thinking in the lines of Wilkinsons, Tesco's etc, just rough price guide if you know so I can go get one in ready, thanks xx :) :)

i swear by tesco's tests used them with all 3 of my pregnancies to find out and they cost just under £5 for 2 :D

Anna thank you  that's ALOT cheaper than i thought they would be I have to say!
makes me wonder why chemists tests are so expensive?

I shall get myself down to Tesco :cheer: :cheer: plus will get clubcard points , Hmmm 5p to spend on the baby maybe? :rotfl:

I bought a whole load of ebay cheapies with my first and they were accurate

Yeh but then people would know I'd bought them you see  plus would have to wait for delivery and all that malarky, just want to go out of town to buy them :rotfl:

Boots have BOGOF on First response ATM. :)

Always up for a BOGOF
I guess it pays to shop around and see what's on offer. i'm promising myself not to stock up though - 2 tests max in stock and no more!!! :shakehead:

Ive bought mine off ebay with OV tests in a bundle.... 15 ov tests and 10 preg tests for summit like £5 and no1 needs to know cause if you ask them not to leave feedback they dont!!!

mrs brightside you're tempting me to get obsessive :rotfl:
give me time, it'll happen

i got a bfp on the poundshop tests, then got a first response just to make sure and it still was a bfp

Im sure it will happen anyway darling  I didnt take me long!!!! they always get delivered within 48 hours as well!!!

I got mine off eBay, they have always been accurate for me! Plus they are cheap so I don't feel so bad POAS when I know its too early to test!!

Fertility Plan are great... they dont leave feedback unless you ask them to. Really cheap

I wonder if i just got a defective stick then?
the instructions did say to re test if no lines at all, you would expect a negative at this stage though.
I've got one more of them so will try it on the 30th and buy a Tesco one for the 31st if we go.
Unfortunately it's a dipper so i don't get to POAS as such, bummer! Mine will have to be DIAS ''dip in a stick''.

also Asda have 2 tests which you can take 5 days before your af is due and for 2 it's same cost as tesco's :D just remember not to do what i did and pee on the control window insted of the main bit (well peed on them both) it won't work then pmsl so next time i to a test it'll be in a cup lol

Totally agree with Sammy on this!!

I bought all my tests from Fertility Plan, all items bought are private and there is no record of what you buy! I bought lots of the cheapies, and also a couple of clearblue digitals from them (also bought all my OPK's from them). They arrived to France in 2 days without fail everytime!!!

I got a BFP at only 8dpo with their high sensitive 10MiU tests!!

if you go to boots at the moment first response the ones u can use 6 days early are on bogof at 7.99 . :D

Hi

I have bought from fertility plan on ebay in readiness! and they were very quick and discreet - so no one will know. Also my ASDA has their own for £5 two in box.

Too early for me to say what quality they are but fertility plan were very cheap 15 sticks for around £4-5.

hello holly, I used to buy ( before I turned good  ) the fertility plan ones and they were good. Also I have one of the bogof 6 days early tests sitting on my kitchen table for all to see lol!

Whens your af due missus and when are you testing?
I've decided not to obsess over my body and to start obsessing over everyone elses lolol :rotfl: xxx

Glad you asked this question because I wanted to know too. We're not ttc until next month (omg so excited :cheer: ) and was wondering what to buy to keep in the house. I'm like you though, I only want to keep a few so that I can't test every morning  I bought an ovulation thermometer off ebay and it was a private sale so no one would know what I bought which is great because I would be too paranoid about seeing someone I know at the tesco check out lol

Let me know what you end up buying!
