hi everyone,

i am due my second daughter in 4weeks and it has been suggested to buy a present for my eldest daughter (nearly 5yrs) from her little sister when she arrives.

i was wondering if any of you have doen this and it went down well and also if anyone has got any suggestions of what to buy.

i dont have much money so it cant be anything really expensive but i want it to be something that she can keep and remember as havin it when her sister was born.

thanks

Hi I did it with mine, the older ones were 3 1/2 and nearly 5 when little un was born. I bought them a pack of 2 walky talkies between them. I told them it was a present off the baby and they both gave him a kiss and thanked him for the pressie. I know people who've given book / teddy bear / little toy. It seems to work no matter what you get.

Mayble a little photo frame that she can put her first pic of her sister in, or first pic of her with her baby sister etc.

Hiya

Mason was 4 1/2 when Brody was born and I got him a bear from the bear factory and a couple of outfits, I figured when I was getting Brody dressed he could do the bear LOL

Also it works out really cheap, cos newborn baby clothes fit those bears :shhh:

I did it with my girls but the eldest was only 19 months, I got her a elliot the elephant big teddy with a gift box written to alex from her baby sister.

She was too young to understand it but was chuffed with her pressie. Its gonna cost a bomb this time having to buy pressies for both the girls from this baby

Think this baby might just stop at the sweet shop on its way home, i know my girls will be happy with that :rotfl:
