Right I'm thinking of getting all OHs nephew and nieces a present for Christmas but it doesn't feel enough even though I'm spending a decent amount on each of them.

I'm now thinking of getting them all a stocking each as well and filling it with cute Christmas chocolate, sweets and little random items.

Their ages are;
2 1/2 year old boy
11 year old boy
3 year old girl
7 year old girl
And then OHs son is having one as well to take home and he will be 3 1/2.

OH didn't like the idea of chocolate and sweets but I'm sure within reason they will be ok and it's not like they all have that type of thing all the time and for the younger ones I'm sure it will be monitored how much they eat in one sitting lol!

My question is what do you think is relevant for the smaller cheaper stocking fillers for each age group?

I'm thinking some kind of make up type thing for the 7 year old such as roll on glitter or cute bath stuff? But I can't even think for the others.

Do you think it would go to far to have their names put on the stockings as well? They're only £3 on eBay personalised so not exactly breaking the bank balance and then they can keep them as well for future Christmas'?

That's so nice of you. For the older ones maybe pots of goo play dough or the slime that you throw against walls

I think I want to do it cos that's what my mum always got me and my brother every year as well as presents :) I'm liking the sound of goo! Ill have a look for the smaller ones :)

Im so excited for Christmas this year :D lol

Do you have a 'range' near you? My daughter (she's 12), likes those alien baby things, they come in pods, and they are almost gloopy rubbery type things, and they sit in slime and apparently grow, then have alien babies?! Not sure how, I think they are weird! But they are about £1.50...what about colouring books, packs of crayons, flash cards for the young ones, (I got those bits for Jacob), also a small tambourine (Wilkos).xx

So far my list for each goes;

2 1/2 year old boy:
Playdoh
Train whistle (to annoy his mum hahahaha)
Phonic cards?

3 year old girl:
Peppa pig little library
Farm foam stickers
Bead bracelets
Peppy pig swimming bag

7 year old girl:
Some kind of purse
Ice cream lip gloss'
Hair accessories
Some kind of horse toy
Stamp kit
Roald Dahl book

12 year old boy:
Sock monkey kit
Slingshot flying chicken
This strange rubber bendy man thing.

Going to have to definitely put a price limit on each one but I remember my mum used to just get me and my brother loads of weird random stuff and we loved it so just going to go with what I think is pretty good for them lol even if it is pointless rubbish lol :)

They're all getting some novelty Christmas chocolate and a sweets tube.

BIL is getting a grow your own girlfriend but I think ill give it to him when mother of his children (his ex) isn't around haha.

Yep we have a few :D and a wilkos. I'd forgot about places like that!

Oh god are those aliens still around?! I had one of those hahaha!

You could try Hawkin's Bazaar - I think a lot of their shops have shut, although there are still some around, but their website is full of random things (for kids and adults!), including a large number of 'pocket money' items which might be suitable for stockings?

www.hawkin.com

In fact, if you click on 'Gift Ideas' you can look at stocking fillers by price :)
