Prescribed Clexane. Experiences?

Hi ladies,

Anyone had any experience of Clexane 40mg? Have been prescribed it today after my consultant has said I had an abnormal thromboelastogram. Told to take it from positive pregnancy test for a number of weeks.

Any experiences from anyone would be great xxxx

Hi qwerty i know this is from a few weeks ago but your post caught my eye. I am 11 weeks pregnant with my 5th baby but it's my 10th pregnancy. I have a blood clotting disorder called factor v liden. I have taken clexane with all of my pregnancies from 6 weeks when they have found a viable heartbeat. I take it through the whole pregnancy and for 6 weeks after. Hope this helps xxx

I was prescribed clexane for my last FET cycle and had to take one injection a day for the whole cycle. I didn’t have any problems at all with it, I always bruise easily anyway so didn’t notice any real difference with that, the only side effect I had when I stopped taking it (was a BFN cycle) was a lot of hot flushes (and I mean HOT!! �&#56847!
