Pregnant

Hi. I found out that I was pregnant yesterday. I was on the pill. But the past few weeks I noticed my stomach gettin bigger. I put this down to Weight. I took a test yesterday and came up straight away as positive. I then taken a how many weeks one that came back 3+
I've made my doctors appointment. That's not toll next week. I just want to find out how far gone I am. Has this happened to anyone else. I domt want to wait ages to wait so I'm thinking of booking a private scan x

I think A LOT of woman have been in your situation, even a few of my friends.

I would wait till after your appointment and see what your doctor suggests / says and then book a private scan. From now to 12 weeks, will feel like a lifetime, so will always recommend an early scan

thanks. I have appointment on Tuesday at the doctors. I'm so worried as my stomach feels huge and I'm getting so much heartburn. X

They will perhaps want to feel your tummy and see if they can palpate your uterus. If you're over 10 weeks it should be starting to come outside of the pelvic region and they could feel it. In any case they will likely send you for a scan to be sure.
