pregnant but slightly confused about how far i could be?

Hey all. I found out on Friday that I'm pregnant again with my 2nd baby . I currently have a little girl who just over 1.

I did 2 tests on Friday both with very dark lines on them and another doctors test confirming it (when i tested with my daughter i was only 2 weeks and the lines were so faint, but these was extremely dark and visable).This is what i Can't understand tho, I tested 4 weeks ago and it was negative. I purchased 1 of them clear blue wi conception indicater and it said 3+ now in their booklet it said over 5 weeks plus. I've .nt had a period in over 20 weeks so could I have tested too early 4 weeks ago ? Any advice would be great thanks all xx

You may have tested too early.. when i took my first test it was negative, but I'm never usually late. My cycle is quite regular. I took a second test 4 days later and it was positive. The clear blue tests are quite accurate, so go with that! What did your doc say?
You'll find out exactly how far along you are when you have your first scan though.. from my LMP i thought i should have been 10+ 3 for my scan but they still put me back to 9+2!!

yeah clear blue did that with my first pregnancy, when i had a scare at what i thought was 7 weeks i was only 5+3. i have a doctors appointment on friday, think he/she is going to be shocked when they try date it as my LMP and i say around 20 odd weeks ago lol. just the waiting i cannot stand

It also all depends when it implanted.

I have irregular periods so don't really know how far alone I am.

When I thought I was 6 weeks and had am ermergancy scan they said it looked 7 weeks with a good heartbeat.
Hospital, docs and midwife have all put me a few days to a week forward to what I am.

I'll just have to wait to see if they still put me forward at my scan next week.


You could also say right you might be 5 weeks so that means I can have a private scan in 2 weeks which will give you a better idea.

Loads of the girls on here have had private early scans hun

The only definitive way of knowing will be having a scan I think x
