I had a blighted ovum back in march- and right before getting my D&C I miscarried naturally. I got my first period in may (was kind of hopefull I might be pregnant- so it was hard when period came). Since then we have been trying to get pregnant. But at first the period would come after long intervals (over 40 days in between). It was not until September that my period stabilized. Finally I could accurately calculate my ovulation. I got positive pregnancy test in late november. And now I am worried sick until my doctor appointement in January 4. By then I will be almost 10 weeks. So far I did not have many symptoms- my nipples are more sensitive, I pee more, more tired and more hungry but that is it. It is hard to stay positive.

Hi Veronika. I am hoping to conceive soon after my mmc in September. I understand how nervous you must be.
Your symptoms sound good though. It is very likely that all will be well tjis time.
Good luck xx

Thank you Aragon. Sorry for your loss. Hope you get your cycle back on track quickly and can conceive soon after. Definitely keep on trying and do not give up. Good luck to you too.

Hi I had a blighted ovum in August and conceived again in October after 1st period so I have been lucky to click again so quickly. Its very tough mentally and physically. My brain has been in worry mode for months and months. All I can say is somehow you do get through it. When it works out its all worth it. I had some symptoms that I did and didn't have the first time and comparing got me very stressed out. I had spotting at 7 weeks and my excellent gp got me an early scan. Seeing the little blob , heart beating away was the one of the most emotional moments of my life. Ive just had my 12 week scan this week and saw my baby. Im now worrying that my nuchal translucency screening is not ok so basically the angst never stops. Best advice I try to give myself is one day and one week at a time and what will be will be. Some days will be terribly stressful. Try to be honest about your feelings and share with someone you can trust? But don't want to preach anymore so Ill end it there. Best of luck.

I could have written this post myself after being diagnosed at 10 weeks in september... all followed on by an infection and ongoing bleeding for three months and then a suspected period straight after... midwifes and GP's were crap I've never been made to feel so shit with it all! Pushed off with a leaflet no follow up no nothing! Had to make an emergency appt to which i was given a swab and generic antibiotics which midwife basically said if they dont work i'd just have to go back for a different set.. they say having your first baby is a magical :( couldnt have been further from...
Luckily however, a week ago i found out i was approx 4 weeks pg now 5... after a trip to the docs which was pointless again ive been booked in for an 8 week appt and to take it from there... i cant relax, i cant talk to my oh (enough going on with after his mate sadly commited suicide last week...)
Im absolutely terrified, like you i've had few symptoms but i am currently full of cold and under the weather anyway so i guess it could be masked with that. first time round i had next to no symptoms other than sore boobs and headaches, i spotted right at the beginning too this time round no spotting just a positive test...
Fingers crossed for everyone!!! xox

Good luck ladies. I can't really add much.. Just wanted to pass on what is so far a positive pregnancy. We had 5 mcs and it was so exhausting.. Out of nowhere and bad timing financially, we got a bfp and am now 11 weeks and all seems ok.
Try not to worry. If you're anxious (which is understandable) tell your dr or midwife. Sadly, the care you receive depends a lot on area and individuals but just look after yourselves xxx
