The dreaded pregnancy haemorrhoids have arrived :(

I suffered terribly after the birth of my first baby, I was in crippling pain for almost two months afterwards between hemorrhoids and stitches, much more painful than the birth itself. Baby 2 dropped on Sunday so I'm putting it down to that.

I don't have long to go now, but these hemorrhoids are bringing back memories of all the pain and discomfort and after a breezy pregnancy I am now starting to freak out about going through all of this again. The last time they cut me one way and I tore another resulting in loads of stitches. That coupled with the hemorrhoids I got to the stage where I didn't want to eat or drink so to avoid having to go to the bathroom at all. I would scream and cry and get dizzy and emerge a pale sweaty teary mess. I can't afford to be like this with a toddler in tow too. :(

I sympathise whole heartedly because I with my first had them bad big time. I had thrombosed ones with my second and know with this one I have about 3/4 popping out like grapes. Well embarrassing but tbh it's just a damn pain in the ass lol. I recommend taking at least 3 baths a day with a drop of tea tree oil. Temp to be relatively warm and then applying some ointment called sheriproct. This is a medication you will need to ask gp for but they help with pain and they have steroid in it and also have a anti inflammatory agent. Safe to use in pregnancy and after but check with gp. After a week it should improve. I'm hoping after this baby to have my bubbles tied or burnt off. It's a cosmetic thing for me but I can't stand how embarrassed I am by them. Damn bottom problems xx
