pregnancy after miscarriage

Hi ladies,

So I got my bfp 18/3/19

However I have had two consecutive miscarriages. One being a missed miscarriage. So I’m not able to relax and enjoy being pregnant atm. They where both around the 6-7 week mark confirmed at the 12 week scan so won’t feel at ease until I passed that.

Has anybody got any positive reassurance stories? Or does anyone know how I can be monitored etc? Obviously the nhs won’t do anything yet as I need 3 MCs.

I’m convinced that it’s my levels of progresterone that is the issue. My LP is only very small. My doctor dismissed this before I got my bfp.

My bf says it’s pointless paying for an early scan as we done that last time but still had to wait the 12 weeks for an answer.
He says just what will be will be but I want to know I’ve done everything to give my baby a chance

I’m so happy to be pregnant I just want a sticky baby this time xxx

Hi April,
Could you not have a private scan at around 8 weeks if both of your miscarriages was around 6-7weeks? This may put you at ease a bit.
When i finally do get my bfp there is no way on earth i would be able to wait the whole 12 weeks for a scan.

Hi April and congratulations! I recently had a miscarriage similar to you, we had an early scan around the 6 week mark and all was ok, then when we went for dating scan I'd had a delayed miscarriage. I'm still recovering but I know that if and when I get my next BFP I'll feel exactly the same as you do now! So I cant offer any advice but I'd say what you're feeling is normal. Positive vibes, look after yourself and eat well and keep active. And here's to a sticky little bean

No harm in asking for an early scan due to your history, they might say no but worth a shot.
If they say no I’d get a private scan, 8-9 weeks, thats what I’ll do when I get my bfp if I don’t have reason to attend Epu!

I’ve decided on a scan around 9 weeks. Like I said if we make it past 7 weeks my bf doesn’t want a scan he said it just upset me last time but I knew I’d had a mmc even if I had to wait for it to be confirmed. After having two mc I don’t think I could handle going to my 12 week scan to find I’ve had another mmc

I tried to remember that every pregnancy is different and take it one day at a time. Setting lots of little goals helped too, especially when trying to break up those first 12 weeks. Happy and healthy 9 months xx

Congratulations I’m glad things are going well for you!!
The worry is killing me I can’t imagine having another mc I don’t know how I’ll cope xx

Does anybody know if low progesterone can cause a mmc? So from what I’ve read it causes the uterus lining to thin / not be good enough to hold onto baby. But I’m my mmc the baby didn’t make it past 6 weeks but my body held on until I had a d&c at 12ish weeks XX
