Good Morning ladies .. just another confused gal here! I’ve been up all night feeling rotten sore throat running and blocked nose all came on all of a sudden .. according to my app I am 3 days late for my period today. My breasts feel so heavy and watery not like my normal pms boobs .. I am exhausted beyond words and sorry if tmi but urine seems so strong smelling! I keep getting random pulsing sensations in my nipples to! Anyways .. I haven’t taken a test because last month I fell pregnant first time trying and then at 5 weeks 5 days started bleeding heavy and had a MC or Chemical the doctors were not that helpful .. my first day of bleeding was the 9th of August .. so I am reluctant to take a test firstly because I’m nervous of testing early and it becoming chemical again .. and secondly because I don’t know if my cycle is just messed up from what happened to me last month .. my cycles are usually 29 days so should of come on on Saturday but I know that all that could be out the window now because of the loss last month .. my partner and I did the deed 3 and 2 days before I was supposedly ovulating (according to app) we didn’t track it as were a bit all over the place from what had happened .. anyways sorry if I’m rambling just would love some advice or even thoughts or has anyone one been in this situation ? Lots of love from a very tired girly xxx

Hey. Unfortunately it could be either. Generally your cycles go back to normal after an early miscarriage which I am so sorry for your loss. Some women do however have issues. It could be a longer cycle and your gearing up for ovulation. Only way to know is to test. I understand you are wary about doing this due to your loss. If you are really hesitant. Give it a week but obviously act as though you are so no alcohol, strong medications etc and test in a weeks time if no sign of af.
I would only test if late for a period as I was worried of a chemical pregnancy. I did miscarry last year and was very hesitant to test too early plus I had a couple of checks where I was up to 5 days late and not pregnant. I am pregnant now and tested when I was 3 days late.

They say you are more fertile after a loss. This can be true but not always. I’ve seen women get pregnant within a couple of weeks for me it took 8 months. I really hope this is a positive for you. X
