Is anyone taking pregnacare conception and have you noticed vivid dreams while taking it ?.

I only take half a tablet a day to use up 3 boxes. The last week I have had the exact same type vivid dreams as i did when I was pregnant. Last night I dreamt I had a dark positive pregnancy test, the father wasn't my OH, it was a random old friend !, then I was walking along discussing morning sickness with princess Diana, wtf ?. Have done 2 tests and both BFN. xx

I'm on pregnacare for pregnancy and I've had weird dreams. I drenpt I was pregnant with triplets but something was wrong do dh cut open the side of my stomach and we pulled one out. Checked and baby was fine so we put it back in and stitched me up. I then had to lie to the midwives about my stitches and said I bumped into a table.

It was weirder than it sounds. Xx

Blimey that sounds very weird hun lol. It's normal to have weird vivid dreams when you are pregnant as I had them, but unfortunately I'm not pregnant lol. I'm convinced its the vitamins. xx

I don't know about pregnacare but the hormones after ovulating (think it could be the progesterone) can cause very vivid dreams. I used to just think I sometimes had more vivid dreams than others, it's only since ttc i're realised the vivid dreams are always in the second half of my cycle. When I was pregnant they just carried on til after my miscarriage.

Yes that makes sense Syd, I do sometimes get a couple of vivid dreams in the second half of my cycle. Maybe the vitamins have raised my progesterone levels this cycle as ive had non stop dreams every night for 10 days now. Had 3 vivid dreams last night, one about being pregnant and having to tell my parents, one about bleaching my hair, another with my son, bird aviary and dentist in it. xx

If it's raising your progesterone that can only be a good thing :)

Yes that's what I'm thinking, I'm only taking half a tablet too. I will definitely carry on with it as we are running out of time.

How are things with you Syd ?. xx

Pretty much out of time :( Now 45, keep extending and saying I'll give it a bit longer but really it's pointless. I'm in the UK this month so going to have an unmedicated IUI, otherwise we're just trying naturally.

You sound exactly like me, I'm 45 in August, I said that was the cut off point but I might try longer, OH doesn't want to give up. It's just catching that one good egg Syd, I really hope it happens naturally for you. I've been reading about HRT and older ladies in their 50's catching pregnant, apparently it helps you ovulate as tops up hormones that decline as we get older. I may ask my GP about it as I suffer debilitating migraines every month and apparently this is due to low estrogen. x
