So for the last 4 days I've had loose bowels, increased bh and cramping speriodically and it's just alarming me that things are moving quite quickly. I've also noticed bits of my plug (yellow snot jelly) has started breaking away but no blood yet so I am guessing I'm swaying my body towards getting ready for labour. I 'feel' like things are happening to me but just don't know when to expect labour? Also because I've given birh in the last 9 months, I'm aware my body is already very used to the ball game x

I have no advice but I am also having these symptoms with a lack of appetite + nausea thrown in! I gave birth 18 months ago to my son and I can't remember for the life of me how I felt pre labour but I do remember going the loo more frequently! I'm 35+4 now so I guess it could just be my body getting ready for labour.

I really hope she doesn't come soon as I'm not ready. I did buy maternity pads and a new dressing gown so maybe I'm conscious I'm nearly there. Just bouncing on my ball. We could both be in a labor thread soon x

I gave birth at 33 weeks this time with my twins. The symptoms I had in the days leading up was lots of very strong braxton hicks. No pain with them bit they lasted ages and were very uncomfortable a bit of a bad tummy the day before and loosing plug every time I went to the loo.
I had a gut feeling too that it wasn't going to be long before I had them.
If your concerned at all ring your Mau and let them no and they will advise hun. They may offer steriods if they feel your at risk for pre term labour. I had some at 29 weeks lily had to go to special care for a couple of weeks to gain weight but other than that she was fine and healthy :) xxx

Strangely I had the urge to pack my hospital bag on Saturday! Last time I didn't pack my bag until I was in labour...

I'm ready for this baby but our house isn't! If they can stay in at least another week then that would be preferable!

Thanks all ladies. I went and got a few more bits today so my bags are packed and ready. I suppose making sure I have a charger and iPad is the last thing to go in the bag as I use them frequently. Anyway, I just feel that something might happen over the next few weeks as I've changed my food habits and all sorts etc. anyway I'll keep you all posted xx

Been a long time Caseysmummy! Congratulations you've finally had your babies!

I'm pregnant with twins with 2 previous c sections and have also been having regular tightenings with cramps today. Ironically, I was at the hospital earlier for a growth scan and my consultant booked me for an ECS at 38 weeks (I'm 35 now) and all I kept on thinking was - I hope I go into labour before then so that I have a shot at a vbac. Well, since the intermittent lower cramps started today I've been sh****** myself because I'm not ready!! My belly tightens and feels as if one or both of the twins are pushing and stretching it out and the cramps are all around my pelvis, mainly the coccyxs. Kinda feels like a big squeezing gas bubble. So here I am praying for a fart! My OH isn't due in the UK until the end of May and don't want to do this alone.
