pre eclampsia?

hi,

i have 4 year old twins, when i was pregnant i developed pre eclampsia, my twins were born by an emergency c-section at 32+2, they were in special care 4 3 1/2 weeks. im now ttc and am concerned that history will repeat!! has any1 had pre eclampsia in more than 1 pregnancy??

Hi Hun,

I read that its more likely to occur in first pregnancies than subsequent ones. Also cus you had twins then maybe you had extra hormones/stress causing the PE?? Maybe its one to ask the GP?

i was going to wait to speak to the doctor until i got pregnant, but i think i may jus go and have a chat about it. im struggeling to find answers from anywhere else

I'm afraid I have no idea but didn't want to read and run. A GP will probably be the best bet though.
