Pramface Babies.

she also said 'i'll quit smoking after i'v had the baby!!!' :o i couldn't believe it. If she can't be bothered to give up smoking when her baby is inside her knowing full well that she is harming it i don't see what is going to make her change after she's had her baby. I think its pretty sad that they can't stop smoking for the sake of their child. It makes me sad to think of all that smoke going into that poor likkle baby :(

Yes but to be fair to her,I doubt your parents were heroin addicts and you were in and out of care from age 6. Of course correct me if I'm wrong  But considering the circumstances I think it's something that a couple of cigs a day was all she was on.

I only really watched bits of it.I was flicking over from Ashes to Ashes  I don't usually watch those kind of programmes as a rule as i find them often inaccurate and/or extremely biased. I for one,am nothing like any of those girls-and that was quite a sympathetic documentary, considering the subject matter. However, what was WITH that title?

I sky plus-ed this and watched it this afternoon. I thought the 17 year old whose parents were heroin addicts seemed to be doing quite well after all she'd been through, she seemed to have the right attitude, apart from the smoking. She seemed to have quite a good relationship with the babys father too.

I couldn't understand why the girl whose partner couldn't be arsed to attend the birth (Jake's mum) was still with him 7 months later. She didn't seem very happy with her life but didn't seem to have the maturity to realise that it was up to her to make changes.

I didn't understand the title either

'Pramface' is a media coined phrase to describe young women who have faces more suited to pushing prams round a council estate.

As in 'that Kerry Katona has got a right Pramface'

It really sets the tone of the show and is so provocative. Really tells you what the programme makers wanted you to think of these girls

Ah I see, I hadn't heard that term before. It did have a touch of the Jeremy Kyle show about it that programme. Middle class programme makers exploiting chavs for entertainment.
I didn't see what the point of the programme was to be honest, it didn't seem to address any issues
