i want to try n do a ppi claim but wen iv googled there so many does it matter which one i go with?
which was agood company?
as any one clamied ppi?
i'd be happy with a couple hundred, iv been told i can still claim if im payin it off still. hope so.

Do not go with a company!!!! You absolutely do not need to.
Go to moneysavingexpert.com and print off the form to fill in.
Send it to the bank/credit card company or whoever you think owes you money.
It's quick and simple to do. You can do it yourself FOR FREE!!!
I've done lots myself and been successful x

i dont kno who owes me money, maybe none of the companies of me any pennies.
im with a debt solution company do u think u can still claim?

Do you know who you've had credit cards or loans with? If so you just ask each company to check, it's really easy x

My bf got all his bank charges back a few years ago he done it all himself and got over 3 grand back x

Yes I completely agree the companies will rip you off! Just phone banks/card companies you have used and they will find out if you had ppi with them and do all the work for you. My friend did it and got £8k back! She didn't even remember about one of the loans she had! Good luck xxx

You should not go with just anybody who claim to be a PPI claiming expert. So a little research and only then go ahead. There are hundreds of financial advisers, you could take their suggestion as well before claiming for your PPI.

Go on experian & create a free trial account to see what credit you've had over the years. You could've had PPI on things like credit cards, loans inc car loans, store cards & overdrafts.

You need a reason to complain about missold PPI though, not all policies were missold. I've reclaimed over £11k but I was suffering from a pre existing medical condition when the policies were sold to me & these conditions were excluded from cover - this wasn't explained to me hence mis selling. Do not use a claims management company, do it yourself. If you are unsure the Financial Ombudsman Servive can help you, the service is free & impartial. Look on their website. They are really there to help if you don't get the answer you are looking for from your bank, they are the second step after you've complained to you bank BUT they can complain to your bank on your behalf in some cases x
