I have just got a powder dispenser that holds enough for 3 feeds.

If I don't use all the powder, can I keep it in the dispenser until I need it again (maybe a week later) or do I have to get rid and steralise the dispenser each time I want to use it.

Hope this makes sense and doesn't sound silly.

I'm no expert but I think that you only need to sterilise containers where the formula has been in contact with water, so I don't think you need to sterilise the formula container. Afterall, keeping it in the container is no different to it being in the formula packet, as long as the lid is on tightly.

Thanks.

That's what I thought. I get worried with anything to do with feeding as I don't want to make Adam ill.

i use a powder dispenser and i have never steralised it and probably wash it once a week and yeah you can keep it in the dispenser as long as it is used within 4 weeks which is the same amount of time you have to use the powder by once the container is open.
