Im really going to try and get my son potty trained in august...

my husband is off work for 2 weeks from 6th august and to save money we have taken bradley out of nursery whilst hes home, cameron will be in south of france, so as well as spending quality time with bradley i thought it would be a ideal time to try again with potty training..

do u think 2 weeks is long enough, cameron took 3 days before being dry through the day and 3 weeks through the night!

want to try then because he'll be moving up to big nursery in september and want him dry, at least through the day anyway!

or am i rushing into it again..

he is 27 months old in august!

i would wait - but then i'm a bit lazy like that - my experience has been that the older they are the quicker they catch on - my dd was 29mths and it took 3/4 days - and she got day and night sussed togehter (not that i expected that) :D

Dior is 28months and just potty training. i think the later the better xxx

Cameron was 26 months when i potty trained him..

Well all i can do is try i suppose if it doesnt work it doesnt work lol.. hope it does though so hes dry for nursery!

thanks girls
xx

do it when you think he's ready but the best time is when you are at home to do it and thats what I will do with matthew have a week off and spend it at home getting him to use the potty, i think they need to understand what they are doing dont they like matthew knows when he's done a poo but they have to be able to tell you I think otherwise you will be constantly cleaning the floor!

Hi

I say giveit a go hun the worst thing will be that he wont be ready :)
