Can someone give me some advice on potty training my daughter. Sophie was 3 at christmas and I have been potty training her since the summer. She was doing really well and going on the potty all of the time, but over the past couple of weeks she seems to have gone backwards and I get at least 1 pair of wet pants a day which isn't too bad but she won't poo on the toilet or her potty at all its always inn her pants.
Has anyone got any advice or ideas of anything I can try to get her back on track.
Thanks

sorry hun. i have no advice as i have not potty trained my daughter yet. but hope you get some good advice :)

im having the same problem my eldest jake is 3 but will be four in febuary he will we in the toliet no problems because he stands up but he doesnt like sitting on the toilet, to poo he will sometimes and othertimes he doesnt tell me im worried he will start school in 7 months time part time but im going to try a squishy toilet seat cover because my mum said some children dont likle the cold toilet seat and try a reward chart too just stick to it dont put her back in nappies because she will get the wrong message all children are different my 2 year old has just starting using the toilet and he prefers sitting on it and he seems to be doing very well its strange. hopefully they will both get it soon i hope sophie progresses im sure she will.

We had the same problem with our little girl she did the same thing but we just kept trying and she got the hang of it in the end, now she is 4 and only just dry at night, it has been hard work. My little boy was much easier to train!
