Potty training question

At what age did you all start potty training??

Any tips??

My LO is only 18 month so I wasn't thinking of starting just yet, never done it before so I have no idea what I'm doing anyway lol

I've put a lot of info in the other thread think it's something like, 'will potty training ever end?!' Start with a schedule and be prepared for a boring few days with long sits on the toilet! But it is a very quick method

As soon as he starts to notice he is wet or soiled would be the best time. No set age as every child is different, just go with his cues... Good luck!

My LG is 19 months, we were given a potty for her last year for Xmas when she was just 6 months I was like wtf, but she has been doing both on it as made it a habit sitting on it before bath time. Anyway now she sits on it 3-4 times a day, she now tells us she needs a poo poo, wee is a poo poo too, this week for the first time she told us she needed a wee twice and did it on the potty, thing is I haven't got the time to put my all into it properly yet, we do use pull ups though, I'm planning on trying to potty train properlyin the summer when we go on holiday so can put my all into it. I don't think here is any harm Introducing a potty before bedtime or anything as a starter x

My eldest was 2yrs 4 months. My second child decided/insisted on using the potty at 18 months and has been clean anf dry in the day ever since and she's 2yrs 3 months now.

My son is 4 and still not doing it properly. My daughter is 21 months and seems quite excited about he potty but has yet to wee in it so don't think she is ready despite saying 'YES, YESSSSS' very excitedly whenever I ask if she would like the potty. Think she just enjoys sitting or climbing around it.

my nephew started at 23, but I think it's pretty individual thing
