position of baby?

just wondering at my stage does anyone know the position of uterus/baby? its just when i was feleing my tummy last night i noticed it still feels quite hard very low down and i thought it would have moved higher up by this stage??

i dont have a big bump yet but i am showing with bit if a bump

Hi nikki, as its your first baby your womb wouldnt have stretched enough just yet to get the baby higher up, he will still be laying snug down in your uterus, im only a few weeks in front of you and thi sis my 3rd baby and i have only just noticed he is actually higher up than he was last week,

Dont worry when he / she gets bigger you will know when hes moved higher up by the low kicks etc..

Last night i actually felt his head it was amazing, he must have been in a right weird position..

i was just a bit worried cos having a few aches still really low down and wondered if the baby should still be that low at 18 weeks

my bump is also very low down, when i feel the flutterings is to the right side of my tummy, what a strange feeling that is lol,
God we are at 18 weeks already, dont seem 5 mins ago we was 6 weeks lol

i am 17 weeks and mine is higher than it was 2 weeks ago but flutters are still felt quite low down. midwife sed everything is how it should be so trying not to worry. i think its different for everyone depending on size shape and how many pregnancies etc. xxx

I wondered this and at my 20 week scan the other day ask the sonographer and she said that my womb was up as far as my rib cage now which really surprised me but did explain why I was feeling little kicks just under my ribs!
