I have seen the Midwife for my 31 week check today and everything is looking fine and dandy. Iron levels came back fine, urine is clear and im still measuring spot on for dates. Little man is head down (not engaged yet though) so thats great too.

I feel good that all is going well but dont want to count my chickens.

I couldnt attend the Midwife clinic though, my panic attacks are getting more frequent and not being on medication to control them for over 4 months is really starting to test me now. I suffer with the attacks terribly in the winter, its mainly a seasonal thing; I get panicky driving the car to the shops, but am fine when I have some one with me.

The Midwife totally understood though, she came out to my house instead and tbh, I felt like I was given a lot more time and she really listened to my problems which was reassuring. She says if im still feeling anxious at 34 weeks she can arrange for someone to come out again then.

Im trying to keep these panics under control though, im damn stubborn that im going to beat them this winter without any tablets! :x

Well this one I had today was especially nice! I have never seen the same midwife twice since the start of my pregnancy.

Amazing though how if someone listens and gives you a bit of support it can really make you feel that things aint that bad and make you feel like your not alone isnt it?

Glad to hear all is going well, Its a shame you dont get to see the same midwife, i had the same one all the way through, bar a couple of weeks.
And at the birth i ended up with a different midwife who didnt know me and was 'going by the book' even though i tried to explain that my bp was up and down alot! but no she still sent me off to hospital instead of the midwive unit as i had wanted.. and my bp was fine in the end!!

Sorry deviated a bit there!!
You're doing great !! and will be an ace mum, you can beat these panic attacks think postive!!

Awww Jade  I am sure you can beat this!!! :cheer:

Yes I know what you mean about the midwife comming out, when I saw the midwife last week at the surgery I didnt like her very much but today when I had one on one with her she short of grew on me :D made me feel important and was really great with advice.

:)

Glad everything is good with you and your little man! You sound like you have the strength to beat these panic attacks - I know you can do it!

You can do my darling, I know you can, you are brave and strong and doing fantastically well

You shoud be very proud of yourself for being tablet free so far.

Your midwife sounds like a diamond, as you say the support from her will help you feel positive too xxxxx
