For our first bump, we've decided on Isabella Mai or Riley John. I want to have back-up names just in case though, the baby may not look like those names!

The problem is I have a HUGE family so names are limited. We can't have anything like the following:
  • Joe-william
  • Beth
  • James
  • Jenny
  • Brandon
  • Henry
  • Sophie
  • Jack
  • Lucy
  • Emily
  • Mikey
  • Caitlin
and those are just one lot of cousins!

Our last name is Gallagher, an Irish name, so I need names to match it and I'm struggling! Any ideas?

What about Aoife for a girl, can't get much more Irish lol! I like Stanley for a boy :) xx

I like Nola for a girl which I think is Irish?

For boys names I just love Harry and we are thinking of maybe Oliver or Harvey for our bump.

what about ciara? from the Irish ciar meaning dark and implies dark hair and brown eyes.

Have run all Irish names by him and he's said no. Yet he wanted something Irish! Men :wall2:

I'm not a fan of any of the boys names suggested, sorry

Neola also means 'little one' in Spanish I think xx

Me and hubby only managed to agree on one name for a girl and one for a boy. Some of the names he suggested for a girl sounded like *ahem* stripper names! It ended up being hard work but almost easy as if one if us disliked it we moved on. My hubby is Welsh, so we went for Elin. We nearly chose Mai for her middle name.

Oh I'm glad it's not just us! I've felt bad for ages because I don't want to offend anyone by pooh-poohing their suggestions as everyone on here and at home have been great in coming up with names.

Sofia is a lovely middle name, I would've gone for it myself if we didn't have a Sophie in the family. We've chosen Mai as my Great Granny's name was May and we technically had 5 generations present before she passed in September.
