Hi all, had my baby girl on the 28th march and was fine until a few days ago, over time since the birth I seem to have developed piles, never had it before.

I was fine going to the toilet at first but noticed as the days went by I was getting very sore and dry and to my horror I found a pile, its not huge but is quite sore.

Anyone had this and any tips on healing? Just when I thought I was recovering so well, feeling rather gutted about it x

Sorry you've got this hun! I only discovered I had internal piles a few weeks after giving birth! Do lots of pelvic floor, eat lots of fibre and drink plenty so u don't have to strain at all when u go and get some kind of cream to soothe things e.g. anusol ( u can get stuff at the supermarket or go to drs and get something prescribed- I know its embarrassing but its best to get them sorted and I just got Dr to look at my 6 week check when she was checking my episiotomy anyway!)...... Hope that helps a bit and u r feeling better soon xxx

If you wasn't stitched down there you can just use the creme or ointment for it x

Lots of water to help soften poo and wipe bum with baby wipes not tissue!

^^^^ Use extra sensitive or it stings!!!! Lol take it from someone who knows... Ouch.

I use pampers sensitive and showered twice a day

No stinging and I had 2 massive ones called Percy and Pete

Do they go for good? Im not stuck with this now am I? Its not huge but not pleasant. Think I will call mine Olive, suits it lol. Xx

Lol- they go :) but will take time - try not to strain and obviously make sure your hydrated

Olive - that's a pretty name for a pretty pile
